A Glass Studio called

LunaπŸŒ™

Luna is a little art studio tucked into a lovely 1930’s heritage building in New Edinburgh, Ottawa. In addition to being a full time workshop for Jennifer Kelly’s glass creations it is also a space for people to learn a wide range of techniques for glass fusing and stained glass. Visiting artists and creatives in a wide range of mediums are welcome to offer pop ups and sessions. The two large front windows feature a new local artist each month.

πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈ Jennifer Anne Kelly ✨

It’s a lot of first names in a row and I actually prefer if you just call me β€œJen”. I have been in a glass trance since 1992 when I took my first glass class. Glass has fed my spirit ever since. Second best to creating my own work is sharing my enthusiasm with others. I really enjoy seeing that same look of delight in people who are creating their own work of art πŸ₯°

I am mainly a kiln-formed glass artist with a little dabble in stained glass (though stained glass was my first love before diving into my first kiln) and a small spot of flameworking. The majority of the skill development and hours of testing and working out techniques have been with kiln forming - this is primarily what I focus on in the studio 🌿

In addition to my own workshop offerings, I have some wonderful guests stop in on occasion to share their knowledge in different mediums. These are also small group workshops, offering the best atmosphere for creativity πŸ’ž
